First of let's define both resistance and resilience.
Resistance: Is a force of resistance or hesitancy keeping you from self-fulfillment or
outward achievement.
Resilience: Is the capability to overcome and break down barriers. Simply put, being resilient makes you CAPABLE!
In terms of mental health resistance can be many things and it can personify inside your inner world/ “Mind” in different ways. For example resistance, Resistance will tell you that you are unloved, not good enough, incapable and introduce other forms of self-doubt. Others ways can be physical resistance in the for of Procrastination, sex/substance addiction, or just all around laziness. But, what does this mean? It means that when we start to feel that life forces are working against us and we are having difficulty setting forward and achieving daily tasks or life goals we are likely being met with some form of resistance.
